Helping Keep Families Together
One of the charitable organizations we felt drawn to support is the Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) Eastern Wisconsin.
This organization recognized the need for housing and support for the families of children undergoing medical treatment at local hospitals.
Through the construction and upgrade of the original house to its current 84-guest room size, families from around the country have a place to turn when they need it most. Services are offered at little to no cost due to generous support from the community.
In addition to housing, RMCH has an exceptional team of volunteers who prepare daily meals, enabling families to focus more on their children’s well-being. Families are also treated to in-house entertainment options to help ease their minds.
Our team at TightSeal Exteriors & Baths has proudly stepped forward to help fundraising efforts to provide financial assistance to these families.
Going Beyond The Typical Home Improvement Project
Of course, you want to know that your windows, doors, or bathroom fixtures are going to stand the test of time. After all, you’re putting your hard-earned money toward the investment in your home.

In the winter of 2023, with the help of our fabulous customers, we collected canned goods, personal care products, new toys, and various household items to donate to RMHC. We also provided a cash donation.
Our team extended our collection drive into the spring of 2024. We tripled our in-kind donations. For every quote we provided to each potential new customer, we made a cash donation to RMHC, allowing us to nearly double our cash donation from the winter.
We’ve seen firsthand on two separate occasions the good our donations have done for these families as our team has toured the facility.
More Than Just A Pop Tab
One of the most creative ways RMHC raises money for the families it helps is through an aluminum can tab collection. In fact, since 2000, the organization has raised over $400,000 just by collecting these tiny metal pieces.
We took on the challenge of collecting tabs and sponsored the Tab Tossin’ collection drive in May 2024. Our customers chipped in and brought their pop tabs, helping us collect a sizable donation.
The TightSeal team helped make the entire event a community-driven, fun-filled day that everyone enjoyed. What made it even better was knowing our efforts were supporting a great cause.
