This lovely New Berlin, WI homeowner had two outdated bathing areas that were 30+ years old and decided to have the TightSeal Exteriors & Baths team do a double shower replacement.
Not only were her old bathing areas out of style with all the remodeling work the family’s done to the rest of their house, but they were inconvenient! At her and her husband’s age, their walk-in needed more accessibility features.

Project #1: Bathtub Replacement
We replaced their bath-shower combo with a new, more accessible product. It opens the place up. This was for the guest bathroom. So, there wasn’t as much to worry about in terms of getting in and out, but it looks much better with a new grab bar, detachable showerhead, hardware, and a nicer surround!
Project #2: Old Walk-In To New Walk-In Shower
The other bathing area in their master bathroom, an older walk-in shower, was replaced by a super-functional TightSeal walk-in. Usually, these are installed during tub-to-shower conversions, but in this case, it was a pure upgrade.
Their new easy-access shower makes life safer and bathing more pleasant. For them, it added lots of functional value: a grab bar, more convenient storage areas, a shallower barrier, a better detachable showerhead, much easier controls, a better look, and then some.
